Cervical cancer is on the rise in Canada, but there are many things you can do to protect yourself. This fact sheet is designed to inform transgender and non-binary people of what the risks are of an HPV infection and highlights navigating unequal access to healthcare. It also details how to best protect oneself from an HPV infection, including getting the HPV vaccine. This resource can be distributed by Healthcare Providers to patients or accessed directly by transgender and non-binary people to be informed about their sexual health.
